Permanent shifts offer the flexibility to customize your schedule according to your preferences. Our utility was designed with simplicity and efficiency in mind, catering to your specific requirements. Should you need to remove Permanent Shifts, below are several methods to achieve this, tailored to meet your individual needs.
Method one: Remove all shifts from this day onwards
To efficiently remove all of the user's shifts from a specific day and onwards, follow these steps:
1. Right-click on the cell from where you want to start the removal.
2. Scroll down until you find the option "Remove All Shifts From This Day Onward," and click on it.
3. Specify the types of shifts you want to remove from the options below:
- Regular Shifts
- On-Call Shifts
- Overtime
- Time Offs
- Special Assignments
- Notes
4. If there is a specific date you want the removal to end, provide that date in the designated box.
5. For each item you want to remove, ensure to check the corresponding box, and uncheck the boxes for those that need to remain.
By following these steps, you can easily customize the user's schedule to meet your requirements.
An alternative option is to manually remove the shifts by using the delete key on your keyboard. If a user has multiple shifts that need to be removed, you can simply press the delete key twice, and it will remove both shifts, resetting the cell back to its default status of RDO (Regular Day Off).
