Setting Up Auto-Send Timesheet Reminders

To set up an automatic message blast to remind officers to sign their timesheets at the end of each pay period, follow these steps:

  1. Access Message Templates

    • Go to Admin > Message Blasts > Message Templates
  2. Create a New Template

    • Click on "Create a Message Template"
  3. Configure Template Details

    • Name: Give the template a descriptive name, e.g., "Timesheet Reminder"
    • Communication Method: Choose the desired method (email, text, or both)
    • Message Content: Compose the reminder message for officers to sign their timesheets
  4. Enable Auto Send

    • Check the "Auto Send" box
  5. Set Schedule

    • Select the day of the week (Thursday or Friday) and the time you want the message to be sent automatically
  6. Save the Template

Once configured, this message template will be sent automatically to the recipients on the specified day and time without any further action required.

Note: If you need to include specific dates in the message, you can use variables like {{next_month}} or {{tomorrow}} which will automatically populate the relevant date when the message is sent.
