Issue

Some officers may be unable to sign up for extra overtime (OT) shifts if they have other scheduled activities like being on-call, K9 maintenance, or other logged time during the extra duty shift.

Solution

To allow officers to sign up for extra shifts even if they have conflicting scheduled activities, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the PaceScheduler application.
  2. Navigate to the Site Settings section.
  3. Locate the setting called "Prevent Shift Conflicts".
  4. Disable or turn off this setting.

After disabling the "Prevent Shift Conflicts" setting, officers should be able to sign up for extra OT shifts even if they have other scheduled activities during that time.
