There are two ways that our system can handle Daylight Savings for your department. You will need to choose one or the other, and you need to be an admin to access the setting, since it's a site-wide change.
Admin Panel -> Site Settings -> Reporting -> Account for Daylight Savings).
This checkbox that allows you to specify (for the entire site) how you want hours calculated when a shift traverses a "Spring-Forward" or "Fall-Back" event.
- If enabled, a night shift worker during "spring forward" will be credited with 1 fewer hours worked, and a night shift worker during "fall back" will be credited with 1 additional hour worked.
- If disabled, daylight savings will have no effect on the hours calculations.
After checking or un-checking this checkbox, please allow 24 hours for all changes to your hours bank calculations to take effect.
