Retro Report

The retro report is used to determine if any changes were made to a pay period AFTER payroll was run for that pay period.

To run this report, go to "Reports" -> "Retro Report". You will enter the following fields:

  • Start Date - The start date of the pay period in question where changes were made after the fact
  • End Date - The end date of the pay period in question where changes were made after the fact
  • Group - The group that you want to export. You can also export All Employees or All Employees that have changes.
  • Date/Time Payroll for selected period was run - Enter the time at which you pulled payroll from Pace for the pay period in question. This retro report will return only changes that were made after this time.

Example

As an example, imagine today is 11/16/2020 and I'm running payroll for the period from 11/2/2020-11/15/2020. For the retro report, I most likely want to know if anything was changed for the prior pay period (i.e. the pay period from 10/19/2020-11/1/2020). I know that I had run payroll for the period from 10/19/2020-11/1/2020 on 11/2 at 12:30pm. So I would enter the following values into the Retro Report form:

  • Start Date: 10/19/2020
  • End Date: 11/1/2020
  • Group: All Employees
  • Date/Time Payroll for selected period was run: 11/2/2020 12:30
