On Call Shifts - Setup and Usage
You can use Pace Scheduler's built-in On Call feature to show who is on call for your department.
To turn on the On Call feature, or to modify the Default Start/End Times for On Call, navigate to the Admin tab, then go to "Site Settings":
Once the feature is enabled on your site, you can apply it in two ways.
1. For large blocks of time, you can use "Add a permanent shift" and change the "Shift Type" to "On Call":

2. If you need to add On Call on a single shift, right-click on the shift, and choose the "On Call" button:
Once you have applied an On Call shift, it will appear as shown below:
The hours listed will be based on the "Default on call start/end time" settings that were shown above in "Site Settings."
You can change how an On Call shift will appear on the Calendar and Daily Shifts pages by navigating to "Edit Look and Feel, and choosing the "Other" tab:
